Global Warming Summarized in BookThe International Symposium on Stabilisation of Greenhouse Gas Concentrations - Avoiding Dangerous Climate Change brought together 200 scientists from 30 nations to discuss and present materials on the adverse effects of climate change caused by the human creation of greenhouse gases. All participants in the conference came prepared to answer these three IPCC posed questions: 1. For different levels of climate change what are the key impacts, for different regions and sectors and for the world as a whole? 2. What would such levels of climate change imply in terms of greenhouse gas stabilization concentrations and emission pathways required to achieve such levels? 3. What options are there for achieving stabilization of greenhouse gases at different stabilization concentrations in the atmosphere, taking into account costs and uncertainties? From the research and answers to these questions presented at the conference, One very important topic is education of the inhabitants of the world. Education is the only means of defense in an adverse situation such as global warming. To stabilize the effect, because it is now beyond reversal, requires a motivated public. Each individual family and government, both local and universally, needs to be aware of the impact and limitations of our global climate as a system and how they, as individuals and a community of man, can help.
