Commercial Solar Systems - Viable Source of Cheap Power

Commercial solar systems are a viable method of powering commercial buildings. The solar panels mounted on or near the building will power the energy needs of the building without the use of fossil fuels by using the energy of the sun. There is no damage or drain on the environmental resources from the use of solar power.

The power generation ability of commercial solar systems comes from the photovoltaic cells in the panels. These cells are made of multi-crystalline which reacts when exposed to sunlight and produces DC current electricity. This electricity is sent to an inverter which converts it to AC power. The electricity then travels to the electrical service panel or breaker box where it is distributed to the building. Any excess electricity that is generated is returned to the power grid.

Many utility companies provide a net metering agreement whereby they pay the solar power user for the electricity that is transferred to the grid. This electricity is then sold to other utility company customers. A Large Commercial Solar System

These are the basics of how a commercial solar power system functions. It benefits the user in many ways. Even though the systems are costly to install, they pay for themselves, because they operate solely on the basis of sunlight, which is free. Most units have storage batteries for storing the power generated and using it in non-sunlight periods. Others are connected to the power grid and buy electricity from the utility company if they fall short.

The bottom line on commercial solar systems is that they lower the dependence on the utility company for electricity. No more high monthly bills! And solar rebates possible! No more having to watch the temperature setting because of the high cost of electricity as the price of oil rises. A Commercial solar system allows the user to be independent of all these things and to generate what they require without any drain of resources.

Commercial solar systems are available from a variety of different companies who will provide an assessment and a complete installation.
