Not to mention that the CookSack is also very affordable, it only costs around $60. It can take around 1 hour to boil water on a sunny day using the CookSack solar stove; this means that you should ideally set it up before you set the rest of your campsite up. There's no flame, so you can leave it unattended. The water will be kept warm once it has reached the right temperature. The CookSack comes with its own pot known as Kettleblack; they don't suggest that you use it with your own pot because many of them are metallic. You do need sun in order for the CookSack stove to work, it does work with slightly cloudy weather but it will take longer to boil. You'll know that the water is hot when the CookSack steams up on the inside. The CookSack can also be used to preheat water which you can then boil using your fuel stove. The stove weighs around 320g, and is 173 x 107mm when packed which makes it ideal to take camping.
