Invertek Solar Inverters - Transforming The Sun's Power

Home and commercial solar energy systems provide an excellent way to offset the use of electric power. When a good system is put into place, most people notice a big difference in their monthly bills. Plus, they also know they are doing their part to lessen the load on the world's dwindling fossil fuel supply. Making this type of system function fully, however, does require the use of specialized equipment. For driving connections between solar power and electric devices, Invertek solar inverters provide a solid option.

Solar inverters are generally the most expensive part of a solar energy system. The inverters, however, are very necessary pieces of machinery. They provide the link that is necessary to actually operate electronic machinery using stored sun power.

A basic solar energy system will have a number of necessary components. The solar panels themselves, for example, are the devices necessary to capture sun power. It is within the panels that the sun's energy is transformed into usable electric energy. This energy is stored within a battery that can be recharged multiple times. The inverters are devices necessary to make the final connection to electric devices.

Invertek's inverters come in a number of different models. The standard design is an AC output power device that operates using sine wave technology. Invertek's models tend to be stored in sturdy aluminum chassis to withstand the rigors of harsh climates. The common models offered by Invertek include:

  • The 300 watt model - These are considered portable by nature and are designed to operate certain smaller systems, such as a microwave oven.
  • 1500 watt models - This design has more of a permanent storage need and wouldn't be readily portable. It, however, can power a number of different loads at a time.
  • 2500 watt models - This type of inverter is designed to operate as a back-up generator in addition to having the ability to handle multiple household or office systems. It would be ideal, for example, to handle operating a refrigerator.

Invertek solar invertors provide a powerful option for driving a solar system's final leg of operation. These devices are rated for harsh climate use and can stand up to the rigors Mother Nature can dish out.
