Panel Solar Technology - Cost efficient and Environmentally Friendly

Panel solar technology uses photovoltaic cells to capture the energy of the sun and convert it into electricity. There are no moving parts in the power generation system. There are no fuels required to run the system. The panels are connected to several other components of the system and then produce electricity that can be used for most energy needs.

Solar cells are made from monocrystalline or polycrystalline. The cells are placed in the shape of a matrix on a reflective backing material with tempered glass with an ethylene vinyl acetate cushion over them. The panel has a strong polymer backing that makes it sealed to moisture. The solar panels are connected together and to a junction box. The arrangement of the atoms in the resin converts sunlight to DC electricity. An inverter then converts the electricity into AC so it can be used for powering needs. Units usually have storage batteries that will provide the stored power when required.

If batteries are not used, there can be a grid tie system with an inverter that feeds the unused electricity to the utility company where it is available for future use. Battery, or off-grid systems, is good for providing power in areas that are not connected to the electrical grid. Portable units allow people to have power in areas where they normally wouldn't, like on camping trips.
